The Ascent is a unique, on-demand rock climbing experience for couples designed to build trust, strengthen communication, and challenge marriages in a meaningful way. As couples climb and belay together, trust becomes active, faith is put into practice, and connection grows through shared challenge. Randy & Julie Watson are high school sweethearts who have been married for 36 years and together for many more. They have four children: Lindsey, Melissa, Mark, and Luke along with their adorable grandsons, Emmett and Jeremy. They are passionate about counseling couples with biblical wisdom towards healthy and thriving marriages.
