A Grove is a group of trees planted together and cultivated for the production of fruit. As women of Branches Church who are striving to be rooted, growing, and reaching, this definition seems fitting to our group as well.
PLANTED TOGETHER
We are not on this journey alone. God gives us the beautiful gift of relationships and we want to take full advantage of this. We want to be women journeying together and encouraging each other towards love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Together, we want to be planted by the stream of living water, so that we can soak in the goodness of God! (Psalm 3:1)
CULTIVATED
When something is cultivated, it is cared for, tended to, and prepared for growth. We want to be women who are cultivated by the Holy Spirit. To be open to His work in our lives - to the pruning and the nurturing. He created us and He is always working in us for His purpose (Ephesians 2:10).
PRODUCE FRUIT
John 15:4 says that if we abide in Him, He will abide in us. A branch not connected to the vine will not bear fruit. When we are connected to Him, He can produce fruit in us and in our lives. We want to be women who abide in Him so that He can produce fruit in our lives!
At The Grove, we want to be women planted together by the streams of living water so we can be cultivated by the Holy Spirit, for the purpose of producing fruit in our lives.

MEET JULIE AND MONICA
JULIE:
I am married to Randy Watson, my childhood sweetheart, for 34 years. I am Mom to Lindsey, Melissa, Mark, and Luke. Mom in law to Kyle and Juju to Emmett. All roles that I love. I have been involved in Women’s ministry in many ways through the years. It has and continues to be a joy to watch as women come to know their purpose and call in Christ.
MONICA:
I come from a house full of BOYS; my two teenagers, Josiah and Elijah, my almost teenager, Easton, and my husband, Josh. So when I get the opportunity to hang out with the ladies, I jump at the chance. I truly love when the Lord brings women together to grow closer to Him. It's a beautiful thing to see precious and purposeful moments that lead us to Christ together. Whether that's a sweet conversation over a yummy cup of coffee, or jumping into the Word with each other. I'm so excited to be a part of The Grove with you all and see what God does.
